Yogas for Aries Ascendant
Y-1- Lord of 2nd Venus, in 2nd causes auspicious effects for Aries Ascendant only; not for other ascendants.

Y-2- Venus 2nd and 7th lord, and Mars-Ascendant lord and 8th lord, placed in Aries Ascendant confer highly auspicious effects; they also become Maraka (death inflicting) for the native.
Y-3- If Sun and Venus are placed in this Ascendant aspected by Jupiter, Venus becomes a yoga Karaka. Sun does not become benefic in this yoga, nor Jupiter if aspected by Vemus.
Y-4- Sun, Mercury and Venus placed in Aquarius for this Ascendant will do good to native in their respective major periods.

Y-5- The major period of Rahu will confer luck, prosperity, courage and luster, provided. Rahu is placed in Gemini in company of Sun and Saturn. If Mercury is also in their company, whilst there will be a lot of income, less courage is indicated.

Y-6- Jupiter and Venus in Capricorn for this Ascendant denotes bath in Ganges or sacred rivers.

Raj a Yogas
Powerful and strong Raja Yogas arise for the Moveable signs when they become ascendants coupled with the following Yogas:

Aries Ascendant
1. Sun in Ascendant whilst Moon is in Cancer.
2. Sun in Ascendant whilst Jupiter is in Cancer.
3. Sun in Ascendant whilst Mars is in Capricorn.
4. Sun in Ascendant whilst Saturn is in Libra.

Aries: Yogas from Bhavartha Ratnakar etc.
1. A Sun and Moon combination i.e. Lords of 4th and 5th combined give rise to Raja yoga.
2. Sun aspected by Jupiter becomes yoga karka, the same can’t be said for Venus when he is aspected by Jupiter.
3. The Sun or Moon placed in the 4th house gives rise to Rajyoga.
4. Conjunction mutual aspect or interchange of the Sun and the Moon is good.
5. When Sun is in Ascendant and Moon in Cancer, the native enjoys a rajayoga.
6. A Sun-Mercury-Venus combination in Aquarius-11th house is a fortunate combination, with all three conferring riches during their dasas and bhuktis.
7. A Sun-Jupiter-Venus combination in Capricorn-10th house helps the native enjoy dips in holy rivers like the Ganga.
8. Venus, Lord of 2nd and 7th is a Maraka planet, but will not kill in his dasa, until placed in 2nd or 7th house.
9. Women born in Aries lagna are generally beautiful and attractive with lot of sex appeal.
10. Venus acts beneficially if placed in 9th or 10th.
11. This is the only Ascendant where it’s great benefic, the Lord of 2nd placed in 12th becomes good for this lagan only.
12. Venus confers a rajayoga if he is in Ascendant with the Sun and unaspected by Jupiter.
13. Venus aspected by Jupiter does not cause any yoga.
14. Venus, Jupiter and Saturn conjoined in 9th cause a good yoga.
15. Jupiter becomes a maraca, if he occupies Capricorn, i.e. in the 10th house.
16. Mercury is a strong Maraka and highly inauspicious.
17. Mars can become a Maraka by conjunction with Venus or the Lord of 6th house-Mercury.
18. A Mars-Venus combination can be both favorable and fatal.
19. Mars and Venus conjoined in 6th, 8th or 12th give rise to a depressive stale due to abnormal sexual passions.
20. The native will possess self-earned wealth if Mars and Venus are in Libra.
21. If Mars conjoins Mercury, death by brain disease occurs in his dasa and bhukti.
22. A Mars and Mercury-combination in Virgo gives the native skin diseases, eruptions and wounds.
23. An Aries native will have fear of diseases (especially smallpox), weapons and Injuries.
24. Mars, when conjoined with Jupiter and Venus in Taurus, becomes a yogakaraka but when this combination occurs in Gemini, there isn’t and yoga.
25. If Mars conjoins Jupiter in Cancer-the 4th house will make Mars a yoga karka.
26. Mars in Lagan and Jupiter in 4th, a Raja yoga is formed.
27. Mars will prove a benefic during his dasa if he’s in Leo i.e. placed in 5th house gives fame.
28. Mars, if in conjunction with Sun and Venus in Scorpio will confer some fame.

Predictive Principles
P-1- There’s a special yoga produced when Mars, Sun and Jupiter are in Sagittarius, with Venus and Saturn placed in Libra.
P-2- Jupiter and Sun combination is good.
P-3- A Jupiter-Saturn association i.e. combination of Lords of 9th and 10th doesn’t cause any yoga for this lagan only.
P-4- Jupiter and Saturn combination is good only in 9th house.
P-5 Jupiter in Aquarius i.e. in the 11th house does not cause any yoga. Won’t automatically give good results in his dasa.
P-6- Jupiter plays a double role. It imparts luck and depression. Prosperity and depression closely follow each other.
P-7- Jupiter when transiting Gemini, Virgo, Scorpio, Capricorn or Pisces, becomes harmful for this lagna.
