3.6 Nakshtra Transit

3.6.1 It is a corollary of the above system. Just as we analyze transit of planets in different houses from natal Moon sign, we can also analyze the transit from Nakshtra occupied by the natal Moon i.e. natal star or birth Nakshtra or Janam Tara. A Nakshtra is called asterism, constellation or lunar mansion. A Nakshtra occupies comparatively a much smaller arc in extent (only 44.44% of a zodiacal sign) and hence are expected to give better results. The Nakshtra occupied by the Moon at birth is called Janam Tara, the 10^th from it is called Anujanam Tara and the 19^th is called Trijanam Tara. All these three Nakshtra are ruled by the same planet. The 2^nd from any of these three Nakshtra is called Sampat Tara, the 3^rd is called Vipat Tara, the 4^th is called Kshema Tara, the 5^th is called Pratyari Tara, the 6^th is called Sadhak Tara, the 7^th Nidhan/ Vadha Tara, the 8^th Mitra Tara and the 9^th Nakshtra is called Param Mitra Tara. Transit over 2^nd, 4^th, 6^th, 8^th and 9^th Nakshtra normally gives good results while transit over 3^rd, 5^th and 7^th Nakshtra gives bad results and transit over Janam Nakshtra gives neutral results. However the results during the first triad i.e. 1^st to 9^th Nakshtra give more pronounced results and the results in 2^nd triad i.e. 10^th to 19^th gives less pointed results and the results in 3^rd trials are only moderate. For each planet’s the benefic Nakshtra/ star counted from birth Nakshtra are given below:

Thus for the native of Chart No. 2 (Dr. Mrs. Singhal), a planet through Nakshtra of Ketu (Sampat), Sun (Kshem), Mars (Sadhak), Jupiter (Mitra) and Saturn (Param Mitra) will generally give good results; transit through Nakshtra of Venus (Vipat), Moon (Pratyari), and Rahu (Nidhan) will give bad results; while transit through Nakshtra of Mercury (Janamtara) will be neutral.

Dr. Shanker Adawal is a man who dons many hats; from strategizing in the corporate boardroom to warding off ill effects of planetary misconfigurations, all come under his repertoire of rich knowledge, experience and vast skill sets. Dr. Adawal played an important role in Reliance’s smooth network roll out in the first decade of 21st century.

Simultaneously, he has been working in the field of higher education.

Dr. Adawal is also President of Manavadhikar Samajik Manch (MASM) that he founded in 1997. It is headquartered in New Delhi with chapters in Orissa, Uttar Pradesh and Maharashtra. MASM since the past 20 years has been fighting for human rights and its motto is ‘the creation of a just and equitable society’.

His organization - MASM, has action-oriented and research-oriented goals: one stressing on medical and legal camps; second, identification of incidence of human rights violation & networking with similar organizations and third, focusing on seminars, surveys and research on various subjects.

Dr. Shanker Adawal has authored at least 18 books on astrology, that shows not only his love for this subject but also a deep insight into the world of planets and their knowledge.
