Planets for Aquarius Ascendant – Karaka and Maraka

Sun- Lord of seventh angle ceases to be malefic. In case Sun is well aspected or associated with benefic it would give nice results in regard to be seventh house i.e, engage the native in a big business or associate him with a high level partner in life. In case Sun is weak the contrary will be the case and the native would suffer at the hands of Government.

Moon- Moon is lord of sixth house and is declared as a malefic by Parashar.

Mars- Mars becomes the lord of the 10^th and 3^rd houses. As lord of 10^th it ceases to be a natural malefic but as lord of third it again assumes its malefic role. Hence a weak and afflicted Mars would give nice results in regard to matters financial.

Mercury- It becomes lord of 5^th and 8^th houses. 8^th is more malefic in nature than what 5^th could be in benefic nature. Hence it is some what bad. Parashar has declared it as a natural. But Mercury being natural in character it would imbibe the good or and qualities of the planets with which it is associated by contact or aspect.

Jupiter- Jupiter himself significator of wealth becomes lord of two houses each of which stands, for wealth. Hence Jupiter will act as a great factor of wealth and value and boost much the house, planet etc. which it influences by association or aspect, particularly when the factors so influenced are in turn representative in character. For example, when it aspects fourth house and Venus it gives valuable vehicle When it aspects the fourth house and Mars it helps the acquisition of valuable house? When it aspects fourth house and Moon it enhances the longevity of mother. When it aspects ninth house and Sun, it boosts longevity of father, career government favour and so on.

Venus- Venus becomes lord of a angle and a trine and hence it becomes a Rajyoga karaka Planet i.e., a best Planet for power and wealth conveyance etc. If however, Venus is very weak it would denote the loss orabsence of car and a house and the set back in position due to public opposition.

Saturn- It owns 12^th and first house. According to rules of Parashar it has to give the effects of the house other than the 12^th i.e. of the first house. As lord of Ascendant (which is considered a angle and a trine), it boosts finances honour longevity etc.

Yogas for Aquarius Ascendant

Y-1a- For Aquarius Ascendant with Mercury-5^th lord, Venus-9^th lord, and Sun-7^th lord, in 5^th, Jupiter-11^th lord, in 11^th, during the major period of Mercury, the native will amass some sizeably good wealth.

Y-1b- Benefic Moon in 6^th (own house) denotes shrewd intellect.

Y-1c- Benefic Moon Moon in 2^nd denotes natives who swiftly change their gaze (habitually and quickly).

Y-2- Major period of Rahu will prove highly auspicious if Rahu is in 10^th of Aquarius Ascendant whilst Sun and Venus are placed in Ascendant.

Y-3- Prosperity and wealth will occur in Major period of Mercury if Mercury, Mars and Sun are placed in 8^th for this Ascendant. Opposite results will be experienced in major periods of Sun and Mars involved in this Yoga.

Y-4- In major period of Jupiter, there will be Mixed results if there is exchange of signs between Jupiter and Saturn viz Saturn in 2^nd and Jupiter in Ascendant.

Y-5- Major period of Venus will cause death of native if Venus and Saturn are both placed in the 11^th.

Aquarius: Yogas from Bhavartha Ratnakar etc.

1. For both Aquarius and Leo ascendant natives, the mere association of the 9^th and 10^th lords doesn’t confer any rajayoga.

2. If Venus and Rahu are in Ascendant with Sun in Scorpio, yoga will be caused in the dasas of Rahu and Jupiter.

3. If Sun and Mars are in Virgo, the native suffers during their dasas. The Mercury dasa will be better.

4. Jupiter in Ascendant with Saturn in Pisces will see mixed results during the Jupiter dasa and an ordinary time during the Saturn dasa.

5. If Saturn and Venus are in Sagittarius, the Venus dasa proves fortunate.

6. A Sun-Mercury-Jupiter combine in Aries is good, especially during the Sun dasa when the native enjoys power.
