Inference of Moon

Our time of birth (the target time) is only a pal after the Sun rises and on that day Purba bahadur pal nakshatra is 20 Ghari and20 pal and our target time is less than the nakshatra of that day one day before that, namely Wednesday Nakshatra Satbikha which is 23 Ghari and 14 pals is reduced by 60 Ghari. Thus we get 36 Ghari and 40 pals. They are put in two places. At one place our target time of 9 pals is added to 36 Ghari and 40 Pals get a Bhayat of 36 Ghari 55 Pal. On the other place, the Nakshatra of the target time 20 Ghari 40 pal to get Bhabog of 57 Ghari 6 Pal.

Further, by multiplying the Gharis of Bhayyat and Bhabog by 60 and by adding the product to get. 2215 pals of Bhayat and 3426 pals of Bhabog, 2215 pals of Bhayat divided by 60 bring the product 132900. These are divided by Bhabog 3426, then the number of the first grade gives a quotient of 38 with a remainder of 2712 When the sea re again multiplied by 60 the product will be 162720 which is divided by Bhabog 3426 will bring the number of second-degree quotient 47 with a remainder 1698 which multiplied by 60. Gives the product 101888. When this is divided by 3426 Bhabog we get the third degree quotient29 where the remainder is left out. Counting from Ashwani nakshatra to the first Nakshatras of target time Shartbikha is the 24th Nakhshatra in the sequence. 24 multiplied by 60 gives the product 1440 which is added to the first-degree number namely 38 to make 1478-47-29. When these are multiplied by 2 the product obtained is 2957-34-58. These are divided by, give 328 Ansh 13 kula, and 37 Bakula. The first degree number 328 divided by 30 gives the quotient of the inference of Moon as 10 Rashi, 28 Ansh, 37 kula, 13 Bakula which is the Moon inference of our target time.

Digit of the first degree 2215 Bhayat × 60 = 132900 ÷ 3426 Bhabog = quotient 38

Digit of the second degree = 2712 × 60 = 162720 ÷ 3426 = Quotients 47

Digit of the third degree = 1698 × 60 = 101880 ÷ 3426 = Quotients 29 remainder 23366 to be left out.

Example of the daily movement of the Moon divided by Bhabog = quotient 840, remainder 60 = quotient 37, remainder 2830 to be left out. Hence, the movement of Moon is calculated at 840 Kula and 37 Bakula.
