Planet Moon and Education!

The Moon has been said to be the planet of fecundation. The Moon is the deciding factor in shaping the events of life.

The Moon in Taurus, Gemini, Cancer, Leo, Virgo, Sagittarius and Pisces show better inclination to studies than when he is in other signs. But the Moon in the ascendant fully aspected by Mercury makes the native of low mental capacity.

The Moon in the 12th bhava brings out bad words. The aspect of Mars on the Moon and the lord of ascendant show dullness. Words of humor mark the native when the Moon in the 8th or the 12^th bhava is fully aspected by Venus. The Moon with navamsa in a sign of Mars fully aspects by the lord of the 9th bhava posited in the 9th blesses the native with rare wisdom and makes him a celebrated author. The owner of the sign in which the Moon is posited falling in the 4th bhava gives understanding and reasoning power. The lord of the sign occupied by the Moon invested with all strength and aspects by powerful benefic – this one planet by himself – blesses the native with discernment, perception and prudence.

Sunapha and Anaphayogas formed by the position of planets excluding the Sun in the 2^nd  or the 12^th  bhava from the Moon indicate generally intelligence and tendencies for high education. When one or more planets are placed in the 2^nd bhava from the Moon, Sunapha is caused. One or more planets in the 12^th bhava from the Moon give rise to Anapha Yoga. When both the 2^nd and 12^th  bhavas are occupied by planets the yoga is called Dhurdhura.

There are 31 combinations each under Sunapha and Anapha and 180 combinations under Dhurdhura. The tendencies and particular tastes for different branches of learning are impacted by the traces of intrinsic characteristics of planet or planets responsible for the yogas. The Moon’s occupation of Apoklima houses (the 3rd, the 6th, the 9th and the 12^th) from the Sun gives a good intellect.
