Shakata Yoga:

This Shakata Yoga arises in a horoscope when Jupiter is positioned in a house other than the Kendra houses, namely the 1^st 4^th 7^th and the 10^th house, and at the same time it occupies the sixth or the eighth or the twelfth house from the natal Moon. This Yoga confers the native poverty, misery, destitute, ever toiling, disliked by all, ill name and with fluctuating and unstable fortune. The following results attribute to this Yoga depending upon the position of Jupiter from the natal Moon in the horoscope:

a) Shakata Yoga with Jupiter positions in sixth house from the natal Moon: This Shakata Yoga bestows detachment and keeps the native bereft of house. This Yoga gives longevity but makes the native live upon the charities from others.

b) Shakata Yoga with Jupiter positions in eighth house from the natal Moon: This Shakata Yoga confers ailing health, poor constitution, miserable, bereft of worldly comforts and poverty despite being born in a wealthy family and of wealthy father.

c) Shakata Yoga with Jupiter positions in twelfth house from the natal Moon: This Shakata Yoga bestows bad relations with his own family and relatives.

Planetary Combinations for Misery

Dainya Yoga arises in a horoscope under the following different planetary combinations:

1) When the third lord exchanges its house with the lord of any other house in a horoscope.

2) When the sixth lord exchanges its house with the lord of any other house in a horoscope.

3) When the eighth lord exchanges its house with the lord of any other house in a horoscope.

4) When the twelfth lord exchanges its house with the lord of any other house in a horoscope.

The above planetary combinations resulting from the exchange of houses by the Trika lords with the various house lords lead to misery, poverty, ill health, wicked nature and troubles from the others in life.

Planetary Combinations for Criminal Intentions

Paapkartari Yoga arises in a horoscope when the natural malefic planets occupy the second and the twelfth house from the Ascendant. This Yoga confers the native with criminal tendencies, weak health, diseased body, excessive sexual urge and intention to grab the wealth and property of others.

Rekha Yoga:

Rekha Yoga is formed when the Ascendant lord is weak and is aspected by the eighth lord and at the same time Jupiter is combust or the benefic planets occupy the Trika houses, namely the 6^th 8^th or the 12^th house, while the malefic occupy the Kendra houses, namely the 1^st 4^th 7^th and 10^th house, or the Trikona houses, namely the 5^th and the 9^th house of the horoscope. Preshya Yoga:

Preshya Yoga gets formed in a horoscope when debilitated Jupiter occupies the Trika houses, namely the 6^th 8^th or the 12^th house, while the Moon occupies the fourth house or the Mars, Jupiter or Sun respectively occupies the cusps of 6^th 4^th and 10^th house in the horoscope. Dr. Shanker Adawal has authored at least 18 books on astrology, that shows not only his love for this subject but also a deep insight into the world of planets and their knowledge.
