Scorpio Ascendant – Benefic & Malefic

Benefic- Jupiter is an excellent benefic

Malefic- Mercury, Venus and Saturn

Sun and Moon if conjunct become Raja Yoga Karakas.

Jupiter does not become a Maraka.

Mercury and Venus become Maraka.

Planets for Scorpio Ascendant – Karaka and Maraka

Sun- As malefic lord of 10^th house the Sun ceases to be a malefic. If strong it gives high honour, contracts, high class business, ruling powers etc. If weak it will give dishonor from Government, loss of wealth of father, worry etc.

Moon- As lord of the best trine a strong Moon away from Sun gives much luck boosting of career, wealth etc. in its major period and Sub period, If weak it denotes danger to father’s life and loss of one’s own wealth and career.

Mars- It is lord of first and Sixth houses. First house is far too good than sixth but the Mooltrikona sign of Mars falls in sixth house, hence it is neutral. If strong it gives good results if weak bad.

Mercury- As lord of two bad houses it is considered as a bad planet. But it is bad for health rather than wealth. When weak it is of course not conductive to good Income. May even cause losses.

Jupiter- Being lord of fifth house Jupiter if strong will give sons, wealth, luck to self and father. If it is weak one loses wealth at the hands of one’s son and suffers in speculation etc.

Venus- It becomes lord of the 12^th and the 7^th houses. Both these houses are connected with enjoyment of sex. Hence Venus if strong makes one highly sexed. As lord of seventh angle Venus ceases to be a benefic. It therefore, gives bad results.

Saturn- It is bad it owns the third house the weaker it is the better it is for wealth.

Yogas for Scorpio Ascendant

Y-1a- For Scorpio Ascendant, union of Jupiter-(5^th lord) and Mercury-(11^th lord) produces wealth, If Venus-(7^th lord) also Joins them, there will be wealth in major period of Venus.

Y-1b- Jupiter in 11^th indicates troubles for elder brother. Mars in 11^th aspected by Saturn or Rahu in 11^th aspected by both Mars and Saturn indicates that there will be no elder brothers.

Y-1c- When a number of planets unite and stand in a sign along with Sun, Sun-10^th lord, will be the strongest of them.

Y-1d- When planet(s) unite with Rahu, the major period of the strongest planet in that lot will be the best.

Y-2- Generosity will be possessed by Scorpio natives having Jupiter in 3^rd.

Y-3- Betterment professionally and financially will occur in Major period of Mercury, if Mercury, Sun and Venus are placed in the 7^th of this Ascendant.

Y-4- Mercury and Jupiter in 5^th and Moon in 11^th indicates wealth of good Magnitude and prosperity. So also Sun and Jupiter in Ascendant indicate good wealth.

Scorpio: Yogas from Bhavartha Ratnakar etc.

1.. An association of Jupiter and Mercury brings in wealth.

2. If Jupiter is in Capricorn, the native will be charitable.

3. If Sun, Mercury and Venus are in Taurus, the Mercury dasa confers lots of fame and power.

4. When Jupiter and Mercury are in Pisces with Moon in Virgo, the native will be fortunate.

5. If there’s a Jupiter-Moon-Ketu combine in Cancer, the Ketu dasa will be ordinary but the Jupiter dasa excellent.
