Ekhhantar Sangya Inference!

Now we come to explain the inference of planets with ekhshantar Sangya. Since we have to make inference about the planet on 29 Sawan Sambat 1949 Bikram Bhadoun Badi Teej isht pal after Sunset and the birth time in our horoscope is Bhadaun Budi Teej Monday (Veer war) 9 pal after Sunset, namely after the midnight of purnmashi. Therefore, it has gone through ekhantar Sangya (later sangya). Here, the inference to be taken is of purnmashi. Therefore, we have to note down the day and time of birth of the target time which is of Tuesday i.e. 5 days and 9 pals. The day and midnight of puranmashi which is of Monday i.e. 2 days 46 ghari and 41 pal will be deducted from that. What remains there is 2 days 13 ghari and 28 pal. This tells us that the difference from purnmashi team target time is of 2 days 13 ghari and 28 pal. This difference is called ekshantar sangya. As we have to make inference about the Sun, movement of the Sun on the day of purnmashi recorded in almanac as is to be multiplied by the digits of ekhshantra.

  • 2 multiplied by 57 Sun movement will give the product 114
  • 13 multiplied by 57 Sun movement will give the product 741
  • 28 multiplied by 57 Sun movement will give the product 1590

The three products will be noted down separately. Again, 13 multiplied by 23 will give the product 299.

28 multiplied by 23 will give the product 644 which divided by 60 will give the quotient 10 with a remainder 44 to be left out.

Addition of quotient 10 to 1596 to make a total of 1606 which when 299 is added to it will make 1905. This when divided by 60 will bring the quotient 31 with a remainder 45 which is to be left out.

Further, the quotient 31 added to 741 will make a total of 772 to which an addition of 46 will make 818 which when divided by 60 will yield quotient 13 with a remainder 38.

Again, the quotient 13 is added to 114 to make a total of 127 which when divided by 60 will give a quotient 3 with a remainder 7. Thus the obtained numbers are 3 days 7 ghari and 7 pal. To this, the Sun inference of the midnight of purnmashi is added to derive ekhahmtar sangya of our isht (the target time). The Sun inference of our target time is calculated at 25 ansh, 10 kula and 17 bakula in kark raas.

  • 644 ÷ 60 = Quotient 10, remainder 44
  • = Quotient 31, remainder 45
  • = Quotient 13, remainder 38
  • = Quotient 2, remainder 7
  • Since obtained ekhshantra numbers are 2 days 7 ghari 38 pal
  • Purnmashi Sun inference added with 3    23      2    39
  • 3 Rashi 25 ansh 10 kula 17 bakula

This will be the Sun inference of the target time. Inference of Mars – ekhantar 2 days. 13 Kula, 28 bakula

On that day, the recorded Mars movement is 3/46. Why are the begures left undyped? First of all, 2 is multiplied by Mars movement 3 to get the product 6. 13 is multiplied by Mars movement 3 to get the product 39. 28 is multiplied by Marc movement 28 to get the product 84. These will be written separately.

    Now,
46 is multiplied by 2 to get the product 598. 28 is multiplied by 46 to get the product 1288 which will be divided by 60 to yield a quotient 21 with a remainder 28 which is to be left out. The quotient 21 added to 28 and 598 will make a total of 703 which when divided by 60 yields a quotient 11 with a remainder 43 which are to be left out. Again, the quotient 11 added to 39 and 92 make a total of 142 which when divided by 60 quotient added to 6 makes total of 8 which when divided by 60 will yield a quotient 0 with a remainder 8.

= Quotient 21, remainder 28

= Quotient 0, remainder 8

= Quotient 2, remainder 22

= Quotient 11, remainder 43

The obtained numbers are 8 ghari and 22 pal. Mars has a crooked or reverse movement. These numbers have been deducted from the Mangal Spasht of purnmashi in order to derive Mars inference of our target time which is 13 ansh, 49 ghari and 7 pals in makar Rashi. Had its movement been straight it would have been added to the obtained numbers.
