4.3 Preparing Ashtakvarga/ Bhinnashtakvarga for each Planet

Part 1

4.3.1 Let us take an example chart for preparing various planet-wise charts.

4.3.2 Prashtaraka/ Bhinnastakvarga of Sun: The method of preparing the chart is to draw a zodiacal chart on a sheet of paper. Then mark the dots on the respective signs according to the number of benefic dots given by the planet as per Para 4.2.1 above, counting from the sign occupied by the respective planet at the time of birth. Thus in the case of dots given by the Sun, the dots will be counted from the Libra, where the Sun was posited at the time of birth. After making all the dots in this way, the Prashtarakavarga chart is ready. When total number of dots in a sign is put up as a lump-sum figure in the respective sign, the chart is known as Bhinnashtakvarga. Thus the seven charts, one each for planets Sun to Saturn is prepared and analyzed accordingly.
