Effects of Sign/ Constellation: The position of natal
Moon in sign/ constellation at the time of beginning of Sadhe Sati is very important. If the natal Moon is in its own/
exaltation sign or sign of Saturn, the results may be somewhat good. The
relationship between this natal sign and sign of Moon at the time of beginning
of Sadhe Sati gives Moorthy Nirnaya indicating nature of Sadhe Sati results (for detailsl please
refer Chapter 2 and Table 32). Similarly another set of guidelines can be
obtained by relative position of natal/ birth star of Moon and the star
occupied by the Saturn in transit when Sadhe
Sati starts. The broad results are given in the table below;

asatrologers, Sadhe Sati gives bad
results on various parts of the body during different period of this transit,
but ill effects are given only during 41 out of 90 months of transit, the worst
being in Moon sign as under;

Saturn’s Vehicles and their Results: One should count from
birth star/ constellation to the Moon’s constellation on the day of on which
Saturn changes the sign. Divide this number by 9 and note the remainder. The
remainder indicates the vehicle of transiting Saturn and the results which it
shows for the period of Sadhe Sati as
under:

There is another explanation given by Tamil seer Pulippani about Saturn’s
transit through various signs. The Sadhe
Sati period will do very bad during transit over movable signs falling
under influence of significance (the worst being the Cancer); next lesser
malefic results under fixed signs (Leo & Scorpio); and the least under dual
signs of Mercury & Jupiter. The transit results over signs of Venus are
also moderate as Venus is a friend of Saturn and the Moon exalts in Taurus
while Saturn in Libra. The transit results over Capricorn & Aquarius, being
signs of Saturn, are also moderate. If Saturn transits Capricorn and Saturn period
is on, it means a wiping out of the past occurs with a new lease of life for
the future.
