Special Nakshtra of the Sun & Moon
Special Nakshtra of the Sun & Moon
12.7.1 Sun’s Nakshtra/ Upgrahas:
The Upgrahas are constellations/
Nakshtra counted from the one occupied by the Sun at any given time. They are
eight in number. When planets are placed in any of these, they cause multiple
obstacles in all ventures. The more the planets in these Upgrahas, the greater will be the intensity of evil results. If a
Nakshtra is receiving malefic aspect and an Upgraha
is also placed therein, then the person may face death or death like calamity.
The Nakshtra Abhijit is not included
when counting the Upgrahas. Each Upgraha has been allotted a planet and
the evil results caused by these can be overcome/ mitigated to a large extent
by propitiation (Shanti) of these
planets.
