My Experience: If Mars is in the First House the person has an interest in enterprise but he is unable to stick consistently to anyone and wants to start many ventures at the same time. This situation continues till the person is 36. Thereafter he becomes stable in one venture. These people have a tendency to believe that they are highly successful and all others are complete failures. As a consequence of this misplaced belief these people tend to bully others around them. They would make perfect villains in a film. If Mars is in the ascendant or a doctor’s horoscope, he does well as a surgeon while studying but gets few opportunities to operate once he begins working. This placement of Mars is not good for doctors. Mars in the ascendant is also not very beneficial for lawyers, they get some opportunities to defend people but virtually no money. All they get is some influence in the courtroom.

For pilots, mechanics, engine drivers this is a good placement of Mars as they have a good physique. The same is excellent for iron smiths, carpenters, goldsmiths, mechanics, engineers, turners, fitters etc. If Mars is in the ascendant in Taurus, Virgo or Capricorn the person gets the best benefits. The person gets to survey land. In Capricorn, the person’s father suffers greatly and he himself is constantly suffering from one or the other disease. In Aries, Leo, Cancer, Scorpio and Sagittarius Mars in the ascendant is good for policemen. Such people are corrupt and take many bribes but rarely get caught if Saturn is beneficial to Mars. They do not regard how their behavior comes across to other people.

Mars in the ascendant is of two types. In Cancer the person has to acquire wealth and success through his own hard work. In Leo the person can only succeed due to divine intervention. In both events the person is generous. They are hospitable to their guests and other they play host to so many people that they do not bother to even keep track. But if Mars is in Taurus, Virgo or Capricorn, the person is a miser who grudges even a little extra eating by a hungry guest. They cheat people. In Gemini and Libra they are friendly by nature and willing to spend a bit on friends. But they too have the tendency to cheat people. In Cancer, Scorpio, Aquarius and Pisces the person does not make friends easily but once he does, he does not give up the friendship easily. These people are greedy and selfish and do not consider that there is any difference between good and evil.

Ordinary characteristics and properties of Mars: debauched, lusty, tendency to look for faults in people, taunting nature, abusive behavior, quarrelsome. In feminine signs – pushing other people to the front, extremely cruel, well build physique, which in fact appears imposing to children. In childhood, the person suffers from disease. In Taurus, Virgo, Capricorn and Aquarius, the person has a tendency to steal.

MASM since the past 20 years has been fighting for human rights and its motto is ‘the creation of a just and equitable society’.

His organization - MASM, has action-oriented and research-oriented goals: one stressing on medical and legal camps; second, identification of incidence of human rights violation & networking with similar organizations and third, focusing on seminars, surveys and research on various subjects.

Dr. Shanker Adawal has authored at least 18 books on astrology, that shows not only his love for this subject but also a deep insight into the world of planets and their knowledge. In fact, astrology has been a passion with him since his childhood days.
