Increase in foes: This is applicable only if Mars is in the Sixth, Seventh or Twelfth House.
Public Honour or Disgrace: Mars determines whether a man will be honoured or humiliated in the King’s court. If it is auspicious, the person will benefit and if it is malefic he will suffer.
Humiliation by others: If Mars is in the Fifth, Seventh or Twelfth Houses, the person will be publicly humiliated by many people.
Independence: Those ruled by Mars have an independent nature and many of them take up jobs ignoring their family businesses.
Tree: Gooseberry tree. I cant understand why this connection.
Cruel: The person is cruel and unkind. The connection comes from the fact that fire is unrelenting when it is destructive. But in my experience this occurs only if Mars is under the influence of any malefic planet and hence this is not something to be predicted without first checking whether Mars is under some influence or not.
Greatness: This is correct.
Enthusiasm: This is a special characteristic of people ruled by Mars.
Debauchery and relationships with other men’s wives: Since Mars is a planet which generates excessive heat, the same is true of people ruled by it and it tends to make them behave in this manner. To be fair to this man, since his physique is good and tales of his virility and libido carry far, it is other men’s wives who chase him more than him covering them.
Lying: The man is a liar if Mars is flawed.
Loss of Greatness: Going by what has already been covered above this appears incorrect. Mars does have a say in the birth of important men and leaders of a nation. If Mars is in the Second, Fourth, Sixth, Eighth or Twelfth House the Person’s intellect is sharp and if it is in the ascendant, Third, Fifth, Seventh, Ninth, Tenth or Eleventh House the person remains unstable even after graduation.
