That is the reason why these natives excel in estate agency and agricultural industries. Usually a Taurus will end up owning land because he loves to feel his connection to the Earth. Material wealth began with agriculture, the tilling of the soil and owning a piece of land which were earliest form of wealth.

It is in the pursuit of wealth that a Taurus native develops intellectual and communication ability. Also, in this pursuit Taurus is forced to develop some flexibility. It is in the quest for wealth that they learn the practical value of the intellect and come to admire it. If it were not for the search for wealth and material things, Taurus people might not try to reach a higher intellect.

Some Taurus people are born lucky, the type who win any gamble or speculation. This luck may be due to other factors in their Horoscope and it is not part of their essential nature. By nature they are not gamblers. They are hard workers and like to earn what they get. Taurus innate conservatism makes them abhor unnecessary risks in finance and in other areas of their lives.

Home  and Domestic Life:

Home and family are vitally important for the natives of Taurus sign. They seek emotional stability and financial security and get well with one of their own kind i.e. with another Taurus. They like and love children very much. They also like a comfortable and perhaps glamorous home which contains something that they can be shown to others. They tend to buy heavy and costly furniture, usually of the best quality available in the market. This is because Taurus likes a feeling of substance in their environment. Their house is not only their home but their place of creativity, motivation and entertainment. The Taurus home tends to be truly their castle. If it becomes possible for them to choose, these natives would prefer living in the countryside to being city dwellers. If they can not do so during their working lives, many natives of this sign would like to have a holiday in or even retire to the country, away from the city and closer to the green land.

At home a Taurus is like a squire of a Estate or, lord or lady of the man or they love to entertain lavishly, to make others feel secure in their home and to encourage others to derive the same sense of satisfaction as they do from it. If one is invited for a dinner at the home of a Taurus native then he can expect the best food and best entertainment of his life. He will show his whole house and exhibit a lot of pride and satisfaction in his or her possessions.

Taurus likes children but they are usually strict with them. The reason for this is they tend to treat their children as their possessions, as they do most things in life. But the positive side to this factor is that their children will be well cared for and well supervised. They will get every material thing they need to grow up properly. On the down side, Taurus can get too repressive with their children. If a child dares to upset the daily routine, which Taurus love to follow, he or she will have a problem with a Taurus parent.

They will find their best friends and companionships among those born under Capricorn and Libra.
